MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES

A meeting of the Otago Lodge, U.A.0.D., was held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Rattray street, on the 13th, A.D. Bro. Dreaver presiding. The following officers were installed for the ensuing term by the DJP- Bro. RomerTL, assisted by P.D.P. Bro. Haikness (Linden): —Grand Lodge representatives, Bro. Evans, P.D.F., Bro. Bryant, "P.D.P. (re-elected); A.D., Bro. Dove; V.A., Bro. Hubbard; secretary, Bro. Evans (re-elected); treasurer, Bro. Booth (rejected); 1.G., Bro. Work; 0.G., Bro. E. (!■. Timms; A.D. bards, Bros. L. Curtis r,d Bryant; V.A. bards, Bros. Lindsay „rA Hawkins. Bro. Mitchell (Lily of the Wiley) waa unanimously nominated for the position of District President The report by Bro. F. R. Hobbs, auditor, showed an i-itremely satisfactory state of affairs.- The following toasts were honored:—•''The King," "The Druids," "D.P. District," and "Visiting Officers and Brothers," and were responded to by D.P.' Bro. RomeriL, Bro. Mitchell, P.D.P. Bro. Oldenburg (Enterprise), and Bro. Harkness. A vote of thanks was accorded to P.A. Bro. Arthur and A.D. Bro- Dreaver for past services. Receipts, £l2 6s 10d.
