Maciiunald, and published by Gordon and Gotch, Wellington, is a neatly-got-up book of about 120 pages, clearly punted, and containing twenty-nine maps and sixteen illustrations. There is no superfluity of matter, each page being devoted to hard facts, the memorising o'. which should uot prove too severe a task for the student. The woik reflects credit on compiler and publisher.
