HIDE SALES. Stronach, Morris, and Co. report as follows:—We held onr fortnightly sale of aides at our stores, Crawford street, to-day, and submitted to an average attendance of buyers a catalogue comprising 346 hides and calfskins. Competition was very keen, and we had a most successful sale, prices all Ijpund being higher by id than those ruling a fortnight ago. Light and medium hides were again proportionately higher than prime ox. Our top price "for ox was 6|d, at which figure we sold one line averaging 641b; othe/s brought 6*d. 6|d, and In cow hides we sold one line weigh.ns ss? a .rL s^'„ and others at <*id, and Aid. lhe rollowir.g wen the actual prices paid per lb : Prime ox hides, s|d to 6fcr;
