SALE OF WORK

A sale of work and bazaar in connection with St. Martin's Church, North-east Valley, was opened this afternoon by Bishop Nevill in Fergudie Hall, which presented a bright and a-ttrattive appearance, all the stalls being tastefully decorated. A fair amount of business was done hv the various stallholders, and given line weather and a large attendance this evening, the Indies should be able to give a good account of themselves. The article displayed aiv both useful and ornamental, and the Christinas tree i< loaded with attractive toys. There will be a dialogue to-night, entitled 'A Little Mistake,' besides numerous competitions The Drake family's orchestra (assisted by Mr H. Ross) will provide «nitablp music.
