DIOCESAN SYNOD.

The triennial election of Synodsmen to represent the various parishes on the Otago Anglican Diocesan Synod resulted as under: —All Saints', Dunedin—J. Allen, J. M. Ritchie; Invercargill—F. M. Oldham, A. A. Finch; Oamaru—G. H. Dennison, C. C. Graham ; Waikouaiti—A. Heckler ; Palmerston —T. A. B. Bailey ; Lawrence—E. Herbert, J. H. Jackson; Caversham—F. J. Easther, C. J. Ronaldson; Roslyn—D'Arcy Haggitt, R. Bentham; Dunstan—W. T. Talbovs, J. M. Ritchie; Mornington—A. C. Birt, C. H. Statham ; WakaDpu—C. D. Arlidge, Colonel Morris; Naseby—W. Burnett ; Leith Valley, North-east Valley, and Warrington—A, M. Barnett; Peninsula and Ravensbourne—A. W. Kitson ; Balclutha, etc.—T. E. Jefcoate; Gore, etc.—T. R. Carroll; Winton, etc. —Frank Woodward. Mr Ritchie having been elected as the representative of two parishes, will choose the one he prefers to represent. No nominations having been received for the following, the representatives will be - elected by the Standing Committee : —St. Paul's Cathe"dral, St. Matthew's (Dunedin), Milton,

Green Island and Takri, Clinton • and Owaka, Tapanui, etc., Pembroke and Hawea, Gladstone and Bluff, Riverton, etc., Hampden and Maheno, Wyndham and Fortrose. No returns have been received from Waitati or Port Chalmers.
