(Received July 20, at 3.8 p.m.) The following are the' handicaps for the erstwhile New Zealand horses for the V.A.T.C. winter meeting:—Caulfield Hurdles, Westerley and Evening Wonder, 10.4 each. For the Steeplechase the same horses are weighted at 10.12 each.
The St Leonards football team defeated the Bay View by 17 points to 11. Tries were scored for the St Leonards by J. Burke (2), P. O'SuUivan (2), and T. Colclough. When the last mail left Home our recent visitor E. M. Dowson headed the cricket averages, his record being as follows: Eight innings, 524 runs, 122 highest score, once not out; average 74.85.
