THE WILLIAMSON DRAMATIO COMPANY.

The third and final representation of ' The Christian' was given at His. Majesty's last evening in the presence of a large and appreciative aud : ence. ' Sherlock Holmes,' in wh ; rh the present combination made their first bow to a Dunedin audience, and which on that ran for nine nights, will be. presented this evening, when the company bring their New Zealand four of five months to a close. Th" story is crowded with dramatic episodes, and the nerve tension on the audience is verv manifest. As to Mr Hastings himself, it can be truthfully, said that as Sherlock Holmes he achieves a triumph. From the moment of his first quiet but intensely dramatic appearance to the final tableau Mr Hastings bad attention riveted upon him. There is splendid booking for to-night, and a capital send-off is assured.
