At a meeting of the Committee of the footballers' accident reseive fund the claims of a Ravensbourne, Southern, and two Dunedin players were granted, and it was decided to pay same on receipt of a medical certificate of discharge. It was also decided that a medical certificate was not necessary till after the injured player's recovery, except in the case of an accident incapacitating a player from following his occupation for eight weeks or lopger, when a certificate at the end of the eight weeks would meet the case. The hon. secretary was instructed to write the Referees' Association asking them to instruct referees to report to the secretary of the fund any accident occurring in a match under their control, if so requested by the injured player. The claims of ail Alhambra, Southern, and two Dunedin players, being L'ontrary to the regulations, were refused.
