Application to complete purchase of o.p. land, John Sloan, section 16, .block 5, Poolburn district.—ApprovedApplicatioq for o.r.p. licenses: Patrick O'Dea, section 9, block 1, Tiger Hill district. —A pproved. The- District Road Engineer reported on R. CnTrxk's application for a road to 'section 57, block 3, Glenomaru district.—T<» be informed that the Board have no power to acquire the comer referred to in order to take the rond through section 33. Ranger O'Neill reported on James Lawsou's application for a license over the area opposite sections 44 and 4 of 39, block 2, Maungatua . district". Yearly license granted at 10s per annum. Robert Millar applied for a license to occupy 3 acres in block 13, Dunedin and East Taieri district, for the purpose of laying down experimental machinery.—Sketch of ground to be supplied. Ranger O'Neill reported on Benjamin I Green's application for a license to occupy i the foreshore fronting sections 51 and 53, ! block 4, Oamaru district.—Application declined. The following forfeitures, were rescinded, the holders having paid up arrears :•— P.m., 49, Lucy Moran; L.i.p., 9635, Catherine Gallagher. The following applications to purchase land held under perpetual lease were approved:—Mary A. Tnder, section 12a, block 2, Gimmerbuni district; Jane Alexander, section 14. block 4, Lauder district. Ranger Atkinson forwarded valuation of improvements on section 12, block 6, Nafteby district, lately . held by Robert Howie.—To be notified as at a capital value of 15s per acre, with vauation at £22 19s. .
