Book packets and newspapers at 9 a.m. on the 26th. The above mail will close at the branch Post Offices, North Dunedin, South Dunedin, Caversham, and Roslyn—for money orders and registered fetters at 5 p.m. on the 25th, letters at 9,30 a.m. on the 26th, and newspapers at midnight on the'2stL At the Port Chalmers office at 8.45 a.m. on the 26th; money ordew close at 4 p.m., and registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 25th. The above mail will be due in London on the 27th June. NOTE. From the 16th' inst. newspaper postage to Canada will be reduced to Id for each newspaper, irrespective of weight. Letters for the United States of Amprim, should be paid 2£d per half-ounce. CHEQUE BOOKS. Cheque books addressed to the United Kingdom must, be prepaid at letter rates of postage. Mails for Cromarty, Puysegur Point, and Te Oneroa close at Invercargill on the 22nd, per s.s.
