[Ptn United Pbbss Assocunoir.] AUCKLAND, May 20. Dr Neligan and the Bishops of Christchurch, Dunedin, and Nelson, arrived at Onehunga'by the Rotoiti this morning. The Bishop-elect of Auckland was welcomed by representatives of the .various diocesan ooards. To-morrow the consecration takes place. ~\ In the case of criminal libel against Richardson a number of witnesses deposed that the Alexandra Hotel was well tonducted. CHRISTCHURCH, May 20. The Court gave judgment in the cases Inspector of Factories 'against Bowron Bros., Wood and Co., and Webster and Co. re the tanners' and fellmongers' award. The Court decided that each of the parties was liable to pay the employees implicated 10£ d per hour. If they paid to the Inspector of Factories for the men employed by them prior to September 8, 1902, the differences between the moneys actually paid to the men and the sum of 10jd per hour for the time worked by each man from October 1, 1901, the Court would inflict no penalty for breach of the award. The question of costs was held over.
