CRIMINAL LIBEL

CHRISTCHURCH, May 18. The case against Wilfred Badger, a Christchurch sol.citor, charged with criminal libel, commenced this morning before Mr Justice Williams. It is alleged that Badger stated that a certain warrant filed in the court was forged by Mr H. Slater, a Christchurch solicitor. A plea of truth and justification was set up.
