EXPERIENCED TRAVELLERS.
« [Srwci vi, to rut Star.] WELLINGTON. January 5. Mr James Pinnock. an African explores of considerable celebrity, arrived here on Saturday. He has recently travelled through Siberia, the warmer and less civilised portions of Aha, North America. Mexico, and the far Yucatan, through the scenes of 10cent calamitous eruptions at "Martinique, and is now making a tour of New Zealand, Shortly Tic will be away to Australia, thence will flit past pearl divots on Thursday Island and Borneo, find possibly the Pagodas at Mandalay. Mr Pinnoek is accompanied in his travels by Miss Annie Bates, a, lady of means, who has a taste for travel in strange lands. Miss Bates has already travelled several thousands of miles in Mr Pinnock’s company, and intends to explore with him the spice-scented countries of the Malay Archipelago and sm:|i other far-off lands as it may later be decided upon to visit.
