WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 17. For Northern ports.—Per Victoria, at 3 pjn. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 18. For Australian States (except Tasmania), per North express, to connect with the Vic- ' bona, at 10 a.m. Mails for Rarotonga, Tahiti, Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji will close at Auckland on the 17th, at 4 p.m. Mails for Cromarty, Puysegur Point, and To Oneroa, per s.s. Invercargill, will close at Invercargill on the 17th, at 7 p.m. Mails for Australian States, Ceylon, India, China, Straits Settlements, Mauritius, Continent of Europe, and United. Kingdom will dose at Wellington on the 19th. The Ttrrakiua will leave Wellington for liondon via Monte Video and Tenerifie cn the 24th December, at 10 a.m. Due in London 4th February. Correspondence to be specially addressed. Mails for Rarotonga, Palmerston, and Penrhyn Islands close at Auckland on the 30th at 4 p.m. For Natal and Cape Town, per Commonwealth (from Sydney), 12th January. Mails for Noumea and Fiji (from Sydney), 31st. E. Cook, Chief Postmaster.
