THE TRADES HALL.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I would like to draw the attention, of the powers that be to the moss-grown, and antiquated Ipok of the front of the above building. Looking at it as you come up Macandrew street it reminds one of a picture of some old building in a back street of the old cities at Home. The expenditure of a pound or tiro would give it a. more cheerful aspect for the New Year. I know that it has had a rongh time lately in election as well as other matters, but that surely would not account for its antediluvian outside aspect.—l am, etc_ XIXI ONI ST. December 16.
