KAIKORAI FOOTBALL GROUND COMPANY.

The annual meeting, of the aboTo was held last night, when twelve shareholders were present, and a number of others were represented by proxy. Mr R. Chisholm presided. The secretary (Mr W. A. Wilkinson)- read the annual report (already published). The Chairman, in moving its adoption, remarked that, though brief, it was eminently satisfactory. The alterations to the ground had not only improved it from a player's point of view, but its appearance was enhanced. The 0.R.P.U., which ought to know something about a football ground, regarded it as so desirable that.they had entered into arrangements with the company for the use of the ground during the season. The directors had gone as far as they thought they were justified in the matter of improvements during the year, but it was satisfactory that they had been able to do so much. They now had a ground which was second to none in tho City.—(Applause.)—The motion was carried unanimously. The following directors were then elected : —Messrs P. Dick, J. Williamson, D. M'Laren, and J. Torrance. Mr A. Matheson was reappointed auditor, at a remuneration to be fixed by the directors. Mr L. Kemnitss mentioned that as the result of the bazaar held in the Kaikorai a cheque for £96 3s had been handed in to the secretary.

The Chairman fittingly acknowledged the efforts of those who "had promoted the bazaar, and said that the greatest credit; was due to them; ;uid at his suggestion a hearty vote of thanks was recorded on tho minutes.

Mr J. Torrance remarked that the KaK korai Ground almost belonged to the'' ladies of the district, seeing that they hod dona so much for it.

Mr/ Chisholm /aid that the directors would be pleased to lend it to them if they ever desired the use of it—for football or otherwise.—(Laughter.) It was resolved, on the motion of Mr Farley—"That it be an instruction to the directors to take tho necessarv legal steps to alter the present articles of association so as to allow the Otago Rugby Football Union, the Kaikorai Football Club, and the Roslyn Cricket Club to vest shares Held by those bodies m the company in one or more trustees."
