THE DOCK TRUST.

The adjourned meeting o: the Dock Trust was held this afternoon; present—Messrs J. Thtmson (acting-chairman), N. Dodds, and J. A Park. . Mr R. Hay, engineer to the Trust, wrote enclosing final certificate for payment to Messrs M'Kecbnie and Fleming, the contractors for the repairs to dolphins and sheerlegs.—Received. The General Manager Railways wrote asking to be furnished with full particulars of the Trust’s proposal for liglting the wharves, station, and goods shed at Port Chalmem with electricity, and the charge per unit.— Received, and ordered to stapd over. The Finance Committee reported a credit balance at the bank of £BB2 11s Id. The Dock Engineer reported that durin c ' the month the pumping machinery had been almost in constant use; also that the sheep, legs had been employed lifting on board the Invercargill’s bqiler. The whole of the mac chinery is working satisfactorily.—Received. ’ The Trust then went into Committee to consider the manager’s report.
