CHRISTCHURCH ELECTRIC TRAMWAYS.
[Special to the Stab.] CHRISTCHURCH, July 11. . The Christchurch City Council propose to invite from electrical engineers and others proposals under the following beads, which are to be laid before the Tramway Board when the latter .are constituted: ~(1) To provide expert advice and supervision ; (2) supply of materials; (3) complete construction; (4) construction and finance; (5), construction, finance, and running concessions; (6) or any combination of foregoing in connection with electric tramways.
