TEE TRADE v. POLICE.

TO TH* EDITOR. Sir, —It is just of late I have noticed Mr Charles B. M. Brunson’s name very much in evidence in connection With matters relating to what is now known as “ the trade.” Are we to understand from his effusive epistles that he is the only model hotelkeeper in Dunedin? I have been bamboozled to understand what he is driving at. He might be a little more explicit and concise. Like unto some of his “brothers in arms,” he has got into the bad habit of perhaps saying too much. —1 am, etc., Indianapolis. July 8.
