SUDDEN DEATH IN GEORGE STREET.

A very sadden death occurred in George street this morning. An elderly man named Duncan M'Nivea was conversing cheerfully with Messrs P. Hally and J. Campbell iu the shop of the former, when he suddenly fell forward and lost consciousness, Efforts to revive him were fruitless, and by the time Dr Macphereon had arrived he was dead. The doctor gave it as his opinion that death w as duo to heart disease, but as little is known of the history of the case an inquest will be held in the Sussex Hotel at ten o’clock to-morrow.
