MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.

The Lily of the Valley Lodge, 1.0. G.T., held their weekly meeting in the Albany street Hall last night, when there was a' good attendance of members and visitors. The G.T. presided, and after several communication* had been read from the district secretory and secretary Alliance Lodge harmony was contributed by Bros. M‘Connell, Nisbet, Harridge, R. M’Kinlay, Robertson, Breeze, and Ewing, and Sis. K. Qillam. It was decided to attend a Good Templar church service to be conducted by the Rev, Bro. Sinclair, in the Agricultural Hall early in July, and a fraternal visit was also arranged to the Hope of Dunedin Lodge. The visitors’ vote was responded to by Bro. Breeze (Pioneer) and Sis. Thom (Hope of Dunedin). ____________
