PICNICS.
THE ‘DAILY TIMES’ AND ‘WITNESS’ EMPLOYES. The employes of the ‘ Otago Daily Times and ‘Witness’ Company held their annual picnic on Saturday, the Maon Kaik being the locality, and thither all hands were conveyed by the Otago Trawling Company’s little steamer Express. As the steamers ba-sin was entered on the return journey cheers were given for the directors and for Mr (r. Fenwick, and when the Express drew alongside the wharf tee whole company sang the National Anthem and gave three cheers for His Majesty the King, and another cheer for the Bavarian band, which had livened up things so much during the day.
