MILLERS’ ASSOCIATION
TO THU EDITOR. Sir, —In my letter to you dated 12th inst. I stated : “ The Millers’ Association do not sell flour delivered in Auckland as stated by Mr M’dashau. The price iu all cases is f.0.b.” Your correspondent "Fair Play” states that his firm had purchased Southern flour at £6 10a delivered into store, Auckland, not more than a month ago. Just so. But did he bay this Hour from the Millers’ Association or Horn one of the many millers outside of the Association ? That's the point. If lie can prove of bought from the Association, then 1 shall at once acknowledge my error, and apologise to Mr M’Gkshan. “Fair Play” also states: "As regards the rule 20 controversy. 1 can also verify Mr M’Glashan’s statement,” and suggests that the Association have different rules for different towns. The Association have only one se,t of rales —viz., (lie duly registered articles of association and deed of agreement’. I herewith hand you copies of tlic.se, and you are at liberty to show them to “Fair Play” or anyone else interested. No doubt if any of (he statements 1 have made arc wrong exposure will follow.- —1 am. etc., Millownih. February 15,
