AN AUSTRIAN PARNELL.

A sensation has been caused in the Austrian Reichsrath by the sudden resignation of Deputy Wolf, the Leader of the PanGerman party, and the noisiest member of the House. He was known everywhere i'er his violent and obstructive proceedings. Herr Wolfs position in his party (says the ‘Chronicle’) was similar to that of Parnell, and the reason why he has now been forced by his party to. withdraw from public life is also similar. He fought a duel the other day with Dr Seidl, the offended son-in-law of Dr Tschan, a prominent leputy. The duel was without sanguinary resuits, hut the Pan-German party resolved that Herr Wolf should quit them. His withdrawal is expected to have a salutary effect on the proceedings of the Rcichsrath.
