Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to any necessary alterations, as under:— Overland, North, daily, 10.20 a.m. Late letters, 10.45; also on the mail van tip to 11 a.m. Books and newspapers, 10 a.m. Late-fee letters must bear, in addition to the ordinary postage, Id. THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13. For Northern Ports.—Per Monowai, at 1.50 p.m. Late letters Port train at 2.50 p.m. Also Australian States (except Tasmania), at 1.30 pjn. SAN FRANCISCO MAIL SERVICE. WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 19. For Northern Ports, Samoa, Sandwich Islands, Japan, Philippine Islands, United States of America, Canada, South America, West ladies, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, at 10 a.m. Money orders close at 4 p.m. on the 18th. Parcels for the United States close at 9.30 a.m- on the 18th. Book packets and newspapers at 9 a.m. The above mail will close at the branch post offices, North Dunedin and South Dunedin, Caversham, and Roslyn—for money orders and registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 18th, letters at 9.30 a.m. on the 19th, and newspaper# at midnight on the 18th. At the Port Chalmers office at 8.45 a.m. on the 13th, money orders at 4 p.m., registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 18th. Due in London 22nd March. Mails for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji close at Auckland on the 12th, at 4 p.m. Mails for Cromarty, Pnysegur Point, and To Oneroa will close at Invercargill on the 13th, at 3.30 p.m. Mail« fyr Rarotonga and Tahiti close at Auckland on the' 26th, at 11 ajn.
