COMMERCIAL.
For the sole right of displaying automatic machines at stations on the Government railways, the tenders of J. Catchpolo (£4 per annum), for the Northern section, and G. L. Denniston (£5 per annum), for the Hummii-Bhif! section, have been accepted by the department. The quantity of coal exported from Greymouth last week was: Blackball 1,403 tons, Brunner 2,028 tons.
