A smoke concert was held last evening in the European Hotel to bid farewell to Mr S. C. Napier-Bell (captah. of the Dunedin Amateur Swimmmg Chib), who is leaving Dunedin to take up duties In Central Otago. A big muster of club members assembled to do honor to the guest. The. A Melbourne message states that Mr Saville Gore, a member of Lord Hopetoun's staff, died from enteric. Deceased, who was aged twenty-five, belonged to the family of the. Earl of Arran.
