The Happy Valley report 19nz 12dwt for 120 honrs.
The Roxburgh Amalgamated Mining and Sluicing Company report the gold return for the month of January as 146nz lOdwt sgr. Our Arrowtown special wires: Indian Glenrock (Wynaad) Company, Limited, Macetown, cleaned up for the month of January, obtaining 70oz of smelted gold from 150 tons of stone. The mill returns for that month have been smaller than usual owing to the bard nature of the reef noy being opened up.'’ Messrs Park, Reynolds, and Co. held a sale of dredging property at their rooms today. There was a good attendance ot buyers and others interested in the business. The first lot submitted was the Kawara-i Bridge Company’s dredge and claim, on the Kawarau River. The bidding started at £SOO, and quickly rose, under spirited competition. to £1,150, at which figure it fell to Mr H. Shrirapton. The Golden Standard pontoons were next brought under the hammer, but were passed in at £4O,
