A meeting of the above was held at the Education Offices to-day. An apology for non-attendance was received from His Honor Mr Justice Williams. The House Committee reported and recommended that a gratuitr of £lO be given to the janitor for attendance on the second telephone at the University Buildings; also that several necessary repairs be effected at the buildings before the Senate met. in February.— Adopted.—The tennis student* wrote requesting that the oak tree at the north end of The tennis court be removed, and if the request was granted, then they would guarantee to repair the court by asphalting same. It was decided to remove the tree.
