PUBLICATIONS RECEIVED.

The sewing, binding, and covering cf Wise's New Zealand Post Office Directory—■which we presume is the largest work of us kind in size and circulation south of the Line —i s by no means a contract to be undertaken lightly. But the whole of .he present issue has been turned out well and smartly in the quick space of a month, with the aid of the new sewing machines, by the ' Evening Star' Binding Company. The binding-work is creditable to Mr Otto, the superintendent of that department. We have received a neatly-got-np pamphlet from Baldwin and RaynaH, Wellington, on patents. Ill* pamphlet is designed to give information to inventors as to the best mode of procedure to obtain protection for their inventions.
