A young man named William Millman, son of Captain Millman, of Hawker street, Wellington, was accidentally drowned in the harbor on Sunday through the sinking of a dingey. 'WELLINGTON, January 28. The body of Frederick Hook, of Ohariu Valley, was found this morning, with the upper part of the head blown off, and with a gun lying alongside. _ It is thought that he had committed suicide while in a melancholy state of mind, arising from illness in the family.
