EVANGELIST FARNSWORTH.

Last evening, at the Foresters' Hall, Port Chalmers, Evangelist Farnsworth delivered an address entitled ' The Way-marks to the Heavenly City.' The audience frequently manifested their approval of the lecturer's remarks. Mr Farnsworth, basing his address on John xiv., Matthew xxiy., and Daniel vii., delivered a stirring discourse upon the nearness of Christ's second coming, and the glory attending that stupendous event. Comparing the world to a sinking ship, ho dwelt upon the great importance of the work of salvation, and concluded with an original illustration of the journey up to the Heavenly City pest, the waymarks mentioned by' Daniel. This evening at eight o'clock Evangelist Farnsworth will lecture in the same place, taking as his subject 'The Home of the Saved.'
