Rob-rt Pattison and Walter Pattison, of Fatt'son's, Limited, Edinburgh, have been sentenced to eigheeen months' and nine months imprisonment respectively for fraud. [ The Pattisons • were arrested in April last firm had previously failed, 'Dut subsequently resumed bus'ness, and it was in connection with the flotation ot the new company that the charges of fraud arose. It was alleged by the prosecution that the balance-sheet showed a profit of £IIO,OOO which had not been made.]
