Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Duncdin, subject to any necessary alterations, as underOverland, North, daily, 10.20 a.m. Late letters, 10.45; also on the inail van up to 11 a.m. Books and newspapers, 10 a.m. Late-fee letters must bear, in addition to the ordinary postage, Id. SATURDAY, JULY 13. For Lyttelton, Christchurch, and Northern ports—Per Te Anau, at 2 p.m. Mails from Sydney for Noumea and Fiji, July 17. Mails for Fiji close at Auckland on the 24th, at 11 a.m. From Sydney for Cape Town, per Persic, July 25. For Natal and Cape Town, from Sydney, per Wilcannia, 29th July. Note.—The public are reminded that the postage on newspapers for the United Kingdom, Queensland, and foreign countries is Id for the first 4oz and for each additional 2oz. Edko. Cook.
