The Wellington Racing Club have decided to race to-morrow and on Saturday. The cricket match Wellington v. Canterbury resulted in favor of the visitors. Requiring 135 runs to win, Wellington made the number for the loss of seven wickets, thanks to the fine batting of Midlane, who carried his bat for 55. His innings was one of sterling defence.
