At-the next meeting of the Victoria College Council Mr J. R. Blair (who i* chairman of the Wellington Education Board) will move in the direction of the early establishment of a chair of education in connection with the college. Mr Blair's reasons for moving in the matter is to secure a Echool where' teachers could be properly educated. He said that the present want in the system was likely to lead to disaster or to the regrettable necessity of haviDg-to get a supply of teachers from elsewhere.
