A POISONOUS SERUM.

(Received January 18, at'9.l9 a.m.) A quantity of anti-diphtheria serum at the Milan Institute became contaminated during its preparation, and produced several deaths from lockjaw. Three hundred tubes -were immediately withdrawn from the doctors to ■whom they had been given.
