Fnu A«oci»tion—By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, December 28. (Received December 29, at 9.24 a.m.) A skating disaster has occurred at Desmoines, in the State of lowa. Fifty-one children were skating on- the river when the ice broke, and precipitated them into the water. Forty-nine' were drowned.
