LITTLE RIVER REGATTA.
LITTLE RIVER, December 29. The regatta started to-day in splendid weather and with smooth water. The first race resulted thus: Canterbury 1, Aramoho (Wanganui) 2, Star (Wellington) 3. Canterbury «took tho lead at the start, and though challenged in the first mile by Aramoho won by a clear length. Otago Rowing Club won the Cliampion Double Sculls by four lengths from Star (Wellington), Canterbury being third.
