Sir A Milner has cabled the Government that Private W. Andersen died at Pretoria on June 21 from enteric fever. He was a member of the Third Contingent, and was formerly a farmer at Peilding. INTERCHANGE OP COMPLIMENTS. WELLINGTON, June 27. In reply to a telegam thanking Mr Pilcher, of Cftpe Town, for his kindness to the New Zealanders, the Premier has received the following, dated June 26 " Yonr cable is most gratifying reward for my efforts on behalf of ‘ our boys.* Accept assurance of my continued endeavors.— Pilcher " DEATH OB’ ANOTHER NEW ZEALANDER.
