Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to any necessary- alterations, as under •. Overland, North, daily, 10.20 a.m. Lute letters, 10.45 also on the mail van up to 11 a.m. Books and newspapers, 10 a.m. Late-fee letters must bear, in addition to the ordinary postage—ld for inland letters, 2d for letters for Australia and the South Sea Islands. THURSDAY, JUNE 23. For Australian Colonics, Ceylon, India, China, Straits Settlements, South Africa.' Mediterranean Ports, Continent of Europe! United Kingdom, etc.—Per South express (to connect with the Waikare at the Bluff), at 8 a.m. Due in London on August 6. FRIDAY, JUNE 29. For Lyttelton and Christ6hureh.—Per Te Anau, at 1 p.m. Mails for Cromarty, Puysegur Point, and Te Oneroa will close at Invercargill on the 28th inst, at 12.30 p.m. From Sydney for Natal and Cape Town.— Per Yarrawonga, July 2; Gulf of Bothnia, July 9. Mails for Fiji, per Haurotn, will close at Auckland on July 3, at 4 p.m. Mails for Tonga and Samoa, per Ovalau, will clofie at Auckland on the 4th July, at 4 p.m. Edmd. Cook, Chief Postmaster.
