The Tsung-li-Y&men aonouuce that Buesia is bringing a large force to Pekiu. Six thoiiand " Boxers" have attacked a coavent at Pao-tung-'fn. THE BRITISH LION TAKES A TUBN. : . HONGKONG, Jane 13. Two thousand " Boxers" who wore trying to isolate sixteen-British marines who had been sent ahead of the leading train ■were repulsed with Maxims. They lost forty killed and wounded. The British thenburned two"villages. There were no British casualties. Nino hundred British troops have been ordered from Hongkong to Taku. The Telegraph Department adviwa that in eoweqneace of interruption of Chinese lines between Tientsin oort Pekiti telegrams for iPekid via Viadivortock and Eastern cable will be transmitted at the risk of senders during the trouble in China.
