Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY,'June 12. The order confining the troops in barracks, as a result of the trouble with larrikins, has been cancelled. The Australian Mutual Provident protest meeting have demanded the withdrawal of the proxy fornv— issued with the ballot papers—enabling members to vote for or against the extension of the business, and they have appointed a committee to receive proxy papers against the extension, and also subscriptions to cover the expenses of opposing the proposal. The Premier has announced that he has received a proposal from a wealthy English syndicate to erect ironworks at Port Kembla immediately at a cost of £500,000.
