In answer to the letter in vour issue 7 yesterday signed “ Insane,” I do not douht the veracity of his statement, but before rushing into print ho should, I think have considered the facts of the case. He ought to know that the inauguration of a, system in any walk of life is accompanied with many difiieulties. To get out of the old groove and accommodate oneself to the new takes time, and in a little time I am sure matters will right themselves. I venture to state that the experience of the Exchange operators this last few days has been the most trying, and they have my sympathy. A good motto is “ Never hit a man when he’s down.”—l am. etc.. Hint, Off, Please! May 30.
