WELLINGTON, February 20. The Christchurch railway manager reports to Mr Rooayne, general manager, that 30,000 peraons wore conveyed between Chrißtchurch and Lyttelton on Saturday last, the largest previous record being 18.000. It is understood that the local price of coal will increase Is per ton next month. The mayor's list for the Patriotic Fund is now £5,948 and for the More Men Fund £3,876. The Government Printing Office contributed £52.
