PALMERSTON NORTH, February 16. An elutfly woman named West, ri’o'm nas (iien missing from homo IVIVo VVedr.c-s----•lay evening, and it is supposed that site committed suicide in tho Manawatu River. S ’o left a letter announcing her intention f commit' ing suicide owing to a dosponder.cy caused hy tho death of her husband some months ago. There is a fnmilv of five children left, and the letter contains' details as to the. disposal of property for their hj ntfit. The police are searciiing the river.
