New Zealand teur will not be an exception to Ihe general rule. “Everything and everybody” will ho entirely new to a Dunedin audieme We have already witnessed in this show on past occasions 'adieu riding horses; gentlemen, boys, girls, all riding horses ; wo have seen the lion rid'rg on an elephant, a monkty on a goat. Bn, we are yet to witness the most thrill.ng aod marvellous act of equestrianism yet presented to an enlightened amusement population—that of a tiger riding en horseback and performing numerous difficult feats—jumping from the ground to high pedestals, bridges, on and off the back of a galloping steed, and following the borae with the docility of a dog. Such is the leading animal act of this season, in which Kitty, a full-grown tiger, and Bobby, the imported horse, will be the chief performers. Those who saw the show on the occasion of its last visit will be glad to know that the lion and elephant tricycle act is still retained hi the programme. The following artists are strangers to us, and come from all parte of the Old World, and bring with them tho highest credentials from the various circuses aod amusement palaces of the Continent and America : —The Waldorf family, consisting of twelve ladies, gentlemen, and juveniles, in high-class Homan and Greek statuary, Mdlle. Neredah Leon, Mdlle. Dagmar, Miss Daisy Shand (equestrienner), Rose Aquinaldo (contortionist aod teeth balancer), Mdlle. Adelina Sarina, the sisters Aetor porialists and brapezists), the Cinn;z- lia trio of acrobats, the Rizzio troupe of pant omimiats, also Kismet (the newly-imported Haute Eoole stallion), etc. The evening’s entertainment concludeswith a grand national steeplechase, in which a number of ladies and gentlemen of the company take part, and the full stud of race and high-jumping horses will be introduced, including the Queensland prize-taker Newbaven. The menagerie of wild animals from all parts of the world should prove a source of education and amusement to young and old. The location is the Harbor Board ground, Crawford street.
