Tho colors of all tha regiments arc to receive special ribbons in memory of tho occasion, and postcards are to bo printed showing Germania surrounded by a laurel wreath, and in the left comer a rising sun with the number 1900. One million and a-half of these cards are to be printed and sold on December 31. Since, however’ there are in Germany quite ns many persona as in other countries who hold that the century does not begin till January 1, 1901, the paper war on the question is being vigorously revived.
