MAGISTRATE’S COURT. (Before C. C. Graham, E«q., S.M;) Reginald 8. Tonkinson v. Charles Penny. —Claim £1 fis, on a judgment summons. Mr Stephens appeared for plaintiff.—Defendant, who did not appear, waa ordered to pay amount due and 7« costs in two monthly instalm ,, nts l in default three days’ imprisonment. Selina Glasseib v. Louis Birkner.—Claim, £9 16-t Id. Mr Solomon appeared for tho plaintiff.—Defendant having given evidence as to his means, was ordered to pay amount due and 10s fid costs in weekly instalments of 5s each, in default fourteen days’ imprisonment. In the following undefended oases judgment was given by default for amounts claimed, with costs: —Frank Hyams {for whom Mr Solomon appeared) v. J. M‘K. Nicboll (Bendigo), claim, £l2. for goods supplied (cost?, £2 11s fid); Paterson and Barr (for whom Mr Wilkinson appeared) v. Robert Wilson (Winton), claim, £3B Is fid, on dishonored promissory note and cheque (costs), £2 14s; same v. Gustave Radka (VVaikiwi), claim, £1 2s 10J, for goods supplied (0031.?, 7s). Thomas Pledger v. Charles Eastabrock Claim, £4 3s, for work done. Mr Solomon appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr Hanlon f "r the defendant.—After evidence had been aken on both sides the plaintiff was nonsuited, with costa (£1 Is).
