CASUALTIES.
A. man about sixty years of age, of re* spcctable appearance, and with a considerable sum of money on him, was found lying on the Blrcet in Auckland on Monday night. Ho was in an uncoußoiouß state; apparently stricken by paralysis, and was taken to the hospital. He is still unconscious. There is no clue to Mb identity. The man is sft 9in in height, of medium build, with ruddy complexion, and light sandy beard. A hoy named Chalmers, son of a Venetian blind maker in luvercargill, was drowned while bathing in the Waihopai, in the suburbs, last night.
